Hi Gang...
I had some time to kill at the Seattle National Archives and so checked the "Index to Volunteer Soldiers Who Served During Indian Wars, 1815-1858" (it is an index to military records held by the national archives... you need a special form (available somewhere at http://www.nara.gov ))and extracted these Cordray names....

** Shadrach Cordrey - Cantrells Ga Mtd Vols., War of 1837-8, private
** Daniel Cordray - 66 regt. Georgia Militia, private
** Lorenzo D. Cordry - Jones Co. Co 2 (Williamson's) Ga Vols., Creek War, private
** Pearson Cordry, Malone's Co. Georgia Mounted Militia, Florida War, private
*********
"Index to Mexican War Pensions Files 1887-1926"

** James Cordary - Co A, 2 Ohio Inf., Mexican War, Col Morgan
** Levi Cordery - Co. H 2 Ohio Inf., Mexican War, Col. Irwin

********
"General Index to CSR for War with Spain"
** Douglas Cordray - Co. 26 1 Texas Inf., promoted to Corporal
** Charles Cordrey - Co F 4 VA Inf., private
** James H. Cordrey - Co F 4 VA Inf., private
** David Cordrey - Co M 7 Ohio Inf., private
** Oliver P. Cordrey - 50th Iowa Inf., private
** William H. Cordrey - Co F 159 Indiana Inf., private
** Doughty C. Cordry, Co K 12 Minn. Inf., Corporal

This is all I know about any of these guys!!! I was lookin' for William F. Cordray who served in the Navy during Spanish American War...

Hope this helps someone
Darilee
