Cordray Family Genealogy Forum

Kathleen, your post sure perked me up! I would "kill" for a copy of Moses Ayres Cordrey's account of the family. I'll be happy to send you a hard copy of Francis' account if you would like (in his own handwriting, very legible). If you prefer a transcript, I can send you a file in a couple of weeks. It was somehow lost when I changed hard drives, and I haven't finished retyping it. You will probably also be interested in Francis' account of growing up in Tuscarawas County. Please clarify your line for me so I'll know better what I have that may be of particular interest to you. I'm going crazy trying to figure out who your Sarah was. By the way, my aunt has an oil portrait of either Nathan or Thomas, she isn't sure which, that was given my uncle by Francis' son, John Ayres. My uncle died years ago, so I'm afraid the subject's true identity will never be known.
