I am trying to find descendants of two Cordes brothers who came to America in 1832. They originally lived in Baltimore, but I suspect they moved on from there later. Their brother, Johann Hinrich Diedrich Friedrich Cordes emigrated to Baltimore in 1849 and went on to settle in Cincinnati. I've never been able to find what happened to the brothers, Johann Diedrich b. July 10, 1796 in Brelloh (very small village in northern Germany) and Johann Christian Heinrich Albrecht b. Nov. 9, 1811 Stocksdorf (another very small village next door to Brelloh). Several generations span the time from these two brothers to your ancestors. If you are ever able to make a connection, please contact me. I know all the descendants of my Great Great Grandfather and none of your family seems to be directly related to him.
