Am looking for information about several Cordes brothers who migrated from the Storksdorf (south of Bremen)Germany to Baltimore sometime before 1831, leaving father and maybe mother and at least one brother and several sisters in Germany. Their father's name was Johann Dietrich Cordes born Mar 25, 1753. I'm not sure of mother. She may have been Marie Ripke of Brehloh. Johann Cordes was married to her, but she died and he married Anna Magdalena Meyer (Meirs)in 1786.
