My husband's father was born in 1925 in Irvington NJ. His father, Herman Henry Cordes was born Oct 1901 in Sottrum. He immigrated to US in 1922. New Jersey/New York area. He did have a sibling named John. Do you the other siblings names? I have Herman's siblings as George, Gussina, John, Katharina, and Sophie. His parents were Georg Cordes and Gesche Wahlers.
