Thank you so much for the information, Carolyn.I guess this does makes us long distance "cousins".I had read Don Shadburn's book and found it very interesting. But it was nice for you to condense the data for me.Makes it easier reading.
I would appreciate anything on the Corderysthat you would care to send me.I will share what little I have which is just what I have pulled off the internet and what I have on my direct line from Charlotte.
My primary Cherokee line is Lowrey.I descend from Major George Lowrey and Lucy Benge.
I just haven't done a lot of research on the other lines because I still work.I have found some information on the Shorey and McDonald lines which are mine also, but not anything pastWilliam Shorey Sr and John McDonald b. abt 1747 in Scotland.
I will gladly reimburse any expense if you choose to "snail mail" instead of emailing.
I will try to get my info together if it is anything you would care to have.A lot of people just like to deal with their primary lines.
Thanks again and I enjoyed chatting with you.
Bea
