Dear Mary,

Thank you so much for replying to my posting. My goodness, your family seems to have been affected like mine has. This is very interesting -- do you happen to know who your Corders were who first settled in IN and where they came from before that? (Mine came via Washington Co, Kentucky from Fauquier Co, VA.) If you ever happen to find out, I'd sure like to know in order to search for them in my records. (Even Corder grandparents or gr-gr-grandparents would be helpful to me) Wouldn't that be something to track this genetic problem to a common ancestor? But I am sorry to hear that you and your family have been affected so much, but hopefully medical research will keep working on help for us.
