I am related to the line you speak about regarding your gggrandfather Eb Corder. I am related to William J. Corder who married Nancy Jane Pettigrew. William J. Corder signed the oath of allegiance following the surrender after the civil war, but never came home. His wife was left in desparate straits and some of her four children were raised by their uncle Eb Corder in Pickens Co AL One of those children was Elizabeth Corder (Betsy) who was my great grandmother. I have other information about Eb's civil war service if you don't already have this. Would love to correspond.
