Re William Allen Corder, 1792 SC.
Thomas F. Corder, my greatgrandfather, was one of William
Allen Corder's descendants. Marshall Jefferson Corder,
one of Thomas F. Corder's sons and my grandfather, worked
in the brickyard at Thurber, Texas, from about 1910 until
the yard closed in about l920 or so. He moved then to Fort
Worth, Texas, where he died in l936. Marshall Jefferson Corder was married to Lenora Crawford; one of their six daughters, Inez Pauline Corder, was my mother and the wife of John E. Powers. I have two photographs of Marshall Jefferson and Lenora Corder, one taken on their wedding day.
