I can't help with the Corder side but I think we may be connected through Stone.
This is my lineage
Corder & Betsy Stone of Smyth Co. TN are listed on the marriage certificate of Reese Bailey Stone and Mary Susana Snider in 1867. Reese was born on Jan. 25, 1844 and died on Oct. 1928. He had a younger brother John Corder Stone and through talking to someone else he had other siblings: Elizabeth, Catharine, Hannah, Martha and Martin. I don't know Corder Stone's parents but all this line came out of Smyth Co. TN and I think Corder Stone's mother must have been a Corder because it seems common for children to be given their mothers maiden name.
Also, Reese Bailey Stone had a son Thomas Jefferson Stone.
