It is looking more like two seperate Corder families living near each other. Corder is such an unusuall name that it is easy to assume a connection when there is none or if there is, it is from long ago.
Do you know Estelle Corder? Her family came from MS. Some of them were living in Franklin County when my family was there. She sent me her census outline on Corders in AR. On her list I found a Miranda Corder in the Wm Greenfield HH in 1910. There is also a Mary Iona and Hattie Corder HH in Johnson County in 1910. Next to this one she has a note that this is John R's widow dau and gr dau. They are from her line. She has done extensive research on the Corders. She has found no connection between her line and the Ky line or our OH line. My Gr Uncle was John Logan Corder. Let me know if you'd like to write to Estelle.
