It appears you have two families combined into one. Of the children you listed as being offspring of William Corder & his wife Phoebe, four are actually the children of John Corder (wife Gracey) who died in Smith County, TN ca 1814. Joel, Lewis, Elizabeth (who md. James Anthony, and later a Cartwright) and William, who married Mary Jones, are clearly identified in the estate settlement papers on file in Smith County, TN probate records. One must go to the final settlement papers to see all of John and Gracey's children. Not all are identified in his will.

The Indian attack you mention was reported in the Kentucky Gazette 6 April 1793, with a follow-up article on the 13th of April. Two children belonging to Joel Corder and Jane Anthony survived, as did two children belonging to Elizabeth Corder and James Anthony.
