Malinda Jane Corder was once married to William E/H Hellums and had a daughter named Dorothy Beatrice between 1875-1881. But in 1900 Malinda is a WHITE and a widow living with her daughter and son in law in Johnson County, TX. Malinda was a daughter of William and Martha Patsy Stone. Malinda is found on the 1860 census In Shelby Co, TX at age 15, living with her mother. I understand Wm and Martha had separated or divorced. If I can find out Mr White's first name I can perhaps track them in the census. I am trying to verify the exact HELLUMS she was married to at one time and when. This seems to be a very active forum and I am hoping to get help. Ann Auburg has given me some information but did not know much about Malinda.
