I'd like more info on this family.. I think they are connected to the Bayliss Corder you mentioned..

Shepard Bayliss Corder from Louisanna in 1800s married to Charlotte Montgomery also from LA in 1800's and then moved to Texas with family and was a visting pastor in the Methodist Episcopal Church . Shepherd was very active in forming and building the first church in Burnet county called Crownover Chapel which is now a Texas Landmark. When the Civil war broke out Shepherd, Charlotte and two sons Joseph and Shepherd Jr came to San Antonio, where the three men joined the Confederate Army. Shepherd and Charlotte both died in a cholera epidemic in July and August 1862. Their younger children included Bejamin and Noah were scattered among different family to be taken care of .
