I have information on this line of CORDER's. This is what I have:

William Corder I b. abt 173? Orange Co. NC, d. Caswell Co, N.C., 1782 from wounds recieved at the Battle of Cowpens, m. Pheoebe ? date ?

Their children:

1. William II b 175? Caswell Co., N.C., North Carolina Revolutionary War Soldier. m. Mary ?

2. Elizabeth b. 175? m. James Anthony Feb 7, 1781, Caswell Co., N C.

3. Joel b. 176? North Carolina Revolutionary War Soldier, m Jane Anthony, Orange Co., N.C. 178? (This couple with their three young children were massacred by Indians on their trip to Tennessee about 1786 or 1787.

4. Lewis b 1760, Caswell Co. N.C. North Carolina Revolutionary War Soldier, m. Mary Garner, Orange Co., N.C. November 4 1785, d. 1833, Crab Orchard, Williamson Co. Illinois

5. James III b 176?, Caswell Co., N.C., North Carolina Revolutionary War Soldier

6. Hannah

7. Mary

8. Sally

9. Winney

10. Betsy

** The last five named children were all minors in 1782 as evidenced by Guardianship orders of Court.
