Sharon, Glad you enjoyed the letter, as for the name Pamela I think Susanah made a couple of errors. She was elderly in1900 when the letter was written and her grandfather was a young boy when the Indian attack occured. However she was very factual about most of it considering it was a word of mouth family story and in 1900 it was 107 years after the incident occured. Hey keep in touch, I plan to visit Smith, Wilson and Rutherford Counties in Tenn in about a month. hopefully I will turn up some new info. I had to laugh with Furlong and Parks families we are somehow cousins twice over!! Michael P.S. Sometime we need to compare notes on what we both have on the Caswell Co Corders!
