Mayber I can give you something to start.

I am uncertain which of the sons it was
but one of the Cordells of Loudon Co Va
went to Canada
I remember seeing a statement that he went to Canada
and planted the 1st apple orchard
Got very rich growing apples.
I'm looking at my notes
and i dont find that in my notes.
However they are a big clan
and that one wasnt my direct line so I only know that.

Apples myst have been a big thing with them
Ive got a ledger of my Gr-g-pa and he must have a listing of 25-30 types in it.

Any way
Good luck
Oh the name of the original in Us was John Cordell Sr
wife Elizabeth Edward (dec of King Edw.I)
3 sons Nicholas, Geo Edw.(my lIne)and John JR
Thom C.
