Hello,

Believe the Peter Corbin who married Eunice Sawyer was the brother of my great-great grandmother Elizabeth Corbin, wife of Seymour Lorenzo Allen. Some of my family history comes from Allen Stratton's book "History of South Hero, Grand Isle, Vol. II". Have you seen this? I have just seen online a few pages from Lawson's genealogy of the Clement Corbin family and other lines (ours). This shows your Peter to be the son of Warren and Huldah Fisher Corbin. Warren is said to be the son of Peter Corbin of Dutchess Co., NY. It also states a tradition that the ancestors of this line of Corbins were originally Russians and came to England about 1600. This is new to me.
