Hey Sherry,
There was a James R. Corbin b. 1864 d. 1926. He is buried at Georges Creek Baptist Church, in Pickens County, South Carolina. There was also a Terrell Corbin living in Jasper, Pickens County, S.C. during that time period. Some people believe that Terrell was the son of Barksdale Corbin who was also from Pickens County, S.C.
Another lead for you, would be James W. Corbin b. 3 Dec. 1871, d. 8 Nov. 1967. He is buried at Cedar Rock Baptist Church Cem. Pickens County, S.C. He was the son of Tyre Corbin, who is buried at Saluda Hill Baptist Church, above Pumpkintown.
