I am looking for any and all descendants of James Corbett who was married to Elizabeth (Conlin?) June 9 1821 in Co Monaghan Ireland. They had children George 1822,John 1825,James 1827,Jonston 1829,Robert 1829, Samuel 1832, Mary Jane 1835 and Thomas 1839 all in Ireland.
About 1844, the family came to Canada and settled in the Smiths Falls, Ontario area. Elizabeth seems to have followed after James and the boys arrived. She came with the two youngest children about 1846.
James may have had a brother John as well as a son John.
I have quite a bit of information about this family to share and a number of photos as well.
