ISO my past. My G-G-Grandfather Simon Corbett. His son George Aaron Corbett was adopted by John & Ellen Rice of Ronald, Ionia County, MI around 1863. In or about early 1883/4, George Corbett legally changed his name to, George Aaron Rice, probate court of said county. George & Jennie Rice gave birth to two sons named, Paul Aaron Rice(1885)Clarence Willard Rice(1887)both Palo, MI.
I am looking for my families past and possibility kin that is around from the Simon Corbett family.
I have tried to search the Standard newspaper but it does not go that far back. I just aquired a bad photo copy of the probate courts record. Really hard to read.
