Melissa, saw your message and was surprised to find a Josiah. I have all his siblings but had never heard of him. My grandfather was Andrew Jackson Corbell and William Riley Corbell was my ggrandfather (married 1st a hatfield and had two daughters,Mary and Jerusha Caroline.Jerusha married John McGill. 2nd Sarah Mae McCraw)The Children I knew about were James Marclis who married Maggie Bennett, Charles Franklin who married 1st Josephine Harris and 2nd Minnie Young,Andrew Jackson who married Lula Belle Harris, Mattie Ann (Misnar) who married William R Harrison,George, Edward,Babe, and Talitha Etma who married Ben Northan. I have a picture of William Riley and Sarah McCraw. William Riley died July 30 1896 in Lamar co Ala and is buried in New Hope cemetary near Lamar co Lake. Some of the others are buried there too. Maybe this will help someone else. I have John and Betty Hobson Corbell as the first William's parents. He was born 8-7-1754 in Northhumberland co Va and married Sarah Walston on 7-27-1794 in Northumberland co and had William Jr, Hiram,Martin,Peter, Gilbert, and Charles Austin Washington who married Nancy Crenshaw. William Jr and Charles Austin Washington (his youngest brother) moved to Ala. Charles A W Corbell went on to Sabine co Tx. Marty
