Hi Mike,
It could be, All I know is my Grandmother,Eliza Jane coppinger, was born in Eureka Springs, Ar. she then lived in around Braggs, Ok, which is fairly near to Fort Gibson, OK, where there is an Old Military Fort there, a small town, a farming community for the most part.
Her Father was William Edward Coppinger, b. 1855, his Father was Elihu Emery Coppinger, B.1821. TN. His Father was Higgins, 1832, that is far back as I can go, so my question is, do you know who John Joseph Coppinger's parents were? I really think they are conected to the Tree somwhere, let me know, OK?
