from the book HARDIE, VINCENT, GAINES and Related Familes from VA to TX by Robert M. Clark, page 98
"Robert Wynne was the son of Peter Wynne, Gentleman, and his wife Martha Coppin, daughter of William Coppin of Saint Margarets Parish, Canterbury, England who was buried 18 March 1633. They were married at Saint Martins Church in Canterbury 12 August 1620 and never emigrated to Virginia. Peter Wynne was born in 1593, became free of indenture (apprenticeship) in 1626 and was buried 30 May 1638 at Saint George's Church, Canterbury."
The book has more on the Wynn Family, but that is the only mention of Coppin.
Hope this helps someone.
