Coppin at Nelson's death

I would like to contact other descendants of Joseph wheeler Coppin who, according to a family tree going back to 1717, was a crewmember of HMS Victory at
Trafalgar and was in the cockpit when Nelson died.

Joseph Wheeler Coppin was born on November 24 1785 and buried at Addington Surrey on April 15 1855. He married Sarah Budd of Halifax Nova Scotia and they had seven children; she died in 1868 aged 75.

My family tree is very much rooted in Addington and Shirley in Surey but it does begin by saying "this family (Coppin) is said to have formerly been residents of Canterbury…." As well as more information on Joseph Wheeler I am seeking to establish a link between my details of the Coppin's of Surrey and Kent.
