In response to Dopp lineage:

We seem to have a common ancestor in John Dopp (died 7-1-1813) who married Margaret.

I found a possible last name for Margaret it may be Emigh and if so there is a huge (back to the 1600's) family tree posted under the World Family Tree (v2t1534) for the Margaret Emigh who married a John H. Dopp. The timing seems right but I need further proof before I can tell for sure if this is our shared John Dopp ancestor

John and Margaret had at least two sons one was John Bastion Dopp (died 1840) and my ancestor his brother Henry Dopp (1769-1849) who also died in Huntington Co. PA.

Henry Dopp married Mary (1775-1850?) and they had a daughter Eva Dopp(1800-1877?) who married Joseph Nightwine(1788-1862?).

Any leads would be greatly appriciated. Especially if someone can confirm if Margaret's las name was indeed Emigh.

Further genealogy info availiable on my Family Website at www.members.tripod.com/byrnet

Thanks
