G'day--you are the first Aussie Copley to respond!
Do you know the origins of your family back to early 20th Century? My Copleys are all from Wortley, near Sheffield, as far back as 1758.
There have been relatives who have emigrated to Australia but I dont know much who/when/where at the moment.
Also, my wife has relations called Copley, who are definitley not related to my family, who now live in Perth-Colin and Helen I think, originally from Barnsley, emigrated in the 1970s.

Copley isnt the most common name in the UK, but it is not rare either. There are lots of us around Yorkshire in particular, and there is a village called Copley near Halifax, West Yorkshire.

If we have any connection then I would love to investigate further.
