Hello Joy
I don't think there is a link between the two families. All of my family were born in St Pancras & Islington areas between 1864 & 1886, after Alice & Thomas moved down from Yorkshire via Manchester. I don't seem to have any links with Kilburn or George & Joseph.
If I do come across anything that maybe linked I'll let you know
