Jonathan Copley - according to 1881 census was born approx 1802 in Lynn, Norfolk (presume Kings Lynn?). Occupation fish hawker. Lived in Norwich, Norfolk, U.K from at least 1850's - when did he come to Norwich?
Married two or three times - to either Sophia Hovell or Sophia Nockolds (1859) and again in 1871 to Sarah Luckton - all in Norwich. Sarah appears in 1881 census when she is said to be just 43 years old, an annuitant born in East Indies. Jonathan was 79 years old at the time.
Known children of Jonathan - Amelia, Isaac, Alfred, Sarah, William.
