Thanks! Someone got back to me yesterday, and said that they think they found her in Lincoln Co, WV 1880 census under the name Julia N. Copley (age 5, WV/WV/KY). Her parents were Thomas Copley (1850) and Manerva Brahnam (1857); grandparents were William Henry Copley (1820)and Nancy ? (1822); great-grandparents were James B. Copley (1793)and Rebecca Jane Marcum (1801). This wouldn't happen to be part of your line, would it?

I've started researching her ancestors back in the 1840s & 50s, and have found other family members (that didn't marry into the family until later -- Horns, Harmons, Jarrells, Endicotts)living directly next door to her grandparents and great-grandparents. So it is highly likely that she is the one. Let me know if you find anything else out.
