The following extract was taken from St Machar Church graveyard Aberdeen, Scotland. Any further info would be appreciated.
James Copland (Mason) Aberdeen in memory of his son George who died 14 Feb 1846 aged 18 and six of his children who died in infancy, and the above James Copland who died 7 July 1857 aged 69 yrs also the family of his son Alexander Copland and his spouse Mary Ann Allan also Alexander, Henerrita and Perie who died in infancy and their Daughter in law Margaret Smith who died 9 Feb 1878 aged 28 yrs wife of James Copland and the said James Copland who was drowned in the Dee at Arde 8 Aug 1878 aged 2? yrs and his Twine son Alexander who died 17 Dec 1878 aged 2 yrs, also the above Alexander Copland (Joiner) who died 18 Aug 1890 - 69 yrs and his wife, Mary Ann Allan who died 13 May 1920 aged 86 yrs and their sons; William F Copland who died 16 Jun 1922 aged 59 yrs and John A copland 17 Aug 1938 - 79 yrs.
