Researching my Ely Family, I have seen the name of Copenhaver spelled "Covenhaber". This has been in PA.
If either of you know of the Ely-Copenhaver link, please let me know.
1984, a Stella Copenhaver came to our county Museum in Morrow County, Oregon looking for John and David Ely. I'm am not sure if she found any information and sadly, the people there that day did not refer her to my mother who lived nearby. I have been unable to make a connection with the Copenhaver's and Ely's but both have found both names in VA and PA resources.
Any ideas about Stella or the link with my Ely Family would be greatly appreciated.
