I too have many Copenhavers in my family lineage. However, I have a book entitled"The Copenhaver Family of Smyth County, Virginia". The book was compiled by Mildred (Manton) Copenhaver and Robert Madison Copenhaver Jr.It was copyrighted in 1981. Library of Congress Card Catalog number: 80-70616. ISBN No. 0-89227-037-3. The book is 658 pages and covers back to a Wolfgang Copenhaver who arrived in the Port of Philadelphia on September 11, 1732. I acquired a copy of this book several years ago and it has been a valuable source of information.
