Seeking information or descendants of Alkana J. COPENHAVER, who married Mary Catherine DAVENPORT on 3 Jan 1847 in Monroe County, IN. The couple had five children with two perhaps dying young. #1 William H. COPENHAVER b 22 Jan 1850 in IN married Margaret Emma "Emily" CORDER b 26 Dec 1849. Both are buried in Monroe Co., IN. They had at least three children: Florence, Coty & Lola. #2 Nancy A. COPENHAVER married William CORDER. #3 Jonas COPENHAVER married Cal SUMMITT. {NOTE: Other spellings for Alkana are Elkaneh, Alkanah, Alcain & Alkaniah.
