I am descended from Sylvania Copeland daughter of James and Elizabeth Copeland of Chatham County, North Carolina.According to the Coplen book that was published in California a few years ago, my 'Silvey' married a Bryant.On the 1810 U.S. Federal Census for Chatham County, North Carolina,Thomas Bryant was listed.When my Thomas and Sylvania moved to Hopkins County, Kentucky, the surname was O'Bryan, which has carried into current times.If you are still interested, Sylvania and Thomas O'Bryan's children are:Allen, Turner (my ancestor), Redick, Jordan, Celia, Sally, Rebecca, Polly, Silvany, Frances, Thomas and John.If you would like additional information, please contact me.
