Hi John,

I too found the information on Ancestory.com to be a little skewed to say the least. I got my information from a cousin's family tree, but am not sure where she got it. I have found most of the same information she had listed on Ancestory.com, but the Mary Catherine brings up most of the same information except no parents listed and instead of Washington, it lists Tennessee, which is more plausible.

I have found where he married a second time to Margaret Evans 26 Oct 1848, Lowndes, Mississippi. This date is the year after Mary Catherine supposedly died. I found this through the Mississippi Marriages, 1776-1935.

If any of this does not mesh with what everyone else has... I bow to your knowledge... am new to all of this....
