Suzanne, I think I might have a lead for you. I found the will of David Copekland, Sr., dated 7/24/1817. In this will, his son, Anthony M. Copeland, was mentioned. I am attaching a word document that shows your lineage. You will notice that the oldest person listed on this document has the number 7.2, which means I have his descendants back 7 more generations. I hope this help you in your research.
