I wonder...James A. Copeland (A for Anderson) was my great grandfather. His wife was named Geneva, however.
They had four maybe five children:
Rufus Carl (my grandfather), Pierce, Floyd, ----?(boy), and Naomi.
They lived in Ellis Co., TX, as far as I know.
Rufus Carl married a Julia Geneva Cheek and moved to Tyler, TX, in Smith Co. in 1936. The same year, my dad was born, Johnnie Anderson Copeland. He was their only child.
