Cooper of NY and MI by Cynthia Roach of 17963 Cynthia, As far as I know our Cooper family has no connection with those of Coopersville, MI. It is ironic perhaps, that prior to our moving to Texas, we lived in Coopersville, MI. Actually my gggrandfather Eugene Cooper and his son, my ggrandfather, Royal Eugene Cooper moved from Canada to Michigan to the same county (Ottawa) that includes Coopersville.
