I don't know much more than I have already stated. I would like to check the Passenger and Immigration list from Hamburg, Germany for the early 1830s for Mr. and Mrs. Hendrich Koupe. My father said that immigation changed his name to Henry Coop. Henry went to Ohio in the early 1830s then in the 1840s he went to Keokuk Co., Iowa. I think my G-Grandfather James Coop was born in Jefferson Co. Iowa and My Grandfather Aaron Elijah Coop was born in Keokuk Co.
