Stephen Coons (b. abt 1828, Bavaria, Bayern, GER) came to U.S. abt 1854 with his wife Mariah (Mary E.) [b. abt 1836, GER]. First found in Rochester, NY, later settled in Hornell, Steuben county, NY. They had 10 children, first dgt. was Mary A. who married John Elsheimer and settled in Niagara Falls, NY.
Would like to here from anyone who has any info on this family - happy to share data I have (all info after immigration)
