My grandfather, James Cooney and his brothers emigrated to the US sometime in the 1890's I believe. They were from Tyrone. Their parents and grandparents would have been around in 1840. James went to R.I. and the brothers went to Albuquerqe, New Mexico, where they were barbers. I think one of them was named Edward.
