This info is from Pioneer Families of Missouri by Bryan and Rose in 1876. They interviewed people in a few counties 75+ years after the fact. It is valuable for some info, but accuracy is questionable. The spelling has been varied by many, but the Coonce spelling is recorded over 200 yrs ago. Spanish and French census takers really did a number on it. Jim
