I never knew about what tribe Charlotte was from. So if you were told that it was Cherokee, then you know more than me. I saw the picture of Charlotte when I was young, my Grandma told me that see this is a picture of an Indian Squaw, she was her great grandma Charlotte (Cornish) Coon. Your 2nd Great Grandmother Eliza Jane was a sister to my 2nd Great Grandmother Malinda B. Coon. I just wished my Grandma would have kept the picture even if itr was ruin a little. There is ways today to fix damaged pictures. And I would have tried. If you ever find a relative who has the picture please let me know. Take care & thanks for the information.
