I actually suspect that she's related to a Joshua Coon who lived in Washington Co., Ohio but have no proof. Joshua Coon is Censused on the same page as a Christian Hale and in Christian's will he names friend George Hale. Thomas Hale, who married Phoebe, was the son of a George Hale. I believe that Thomas's father was deceased by the time Christian made his will, however I believe George had 4 or 5 sons so Thomas may have also had a brother named George. George Hale, to my surprise, is not a common name in either OH or PA at this time.
