My William Coon was from Hopkinton, RI. He left a will dated 9-25-1803.
He states he is from Hopkinton, County of Washington, state of RI, Providence Plantation. He lists 5 sons, Isaac, Samuel, Jesse, Pardon,and William. 4 Daughters: Lois, Freegift, Patience and Thankful Coon. I am just curious because of the Coon surname and the area.
