I also have a John Coon from that county. He was born in Wakeman, Ohio. His father was Oshea Wilder Coon. The name was supposely changes from McCoon or McKuen ??? I know John Coon moved to MO.and married Mary Ambern and Lizzy King, and Kate Sprague. His brothers and sister were Effie Mae, Stella, Laura, and Ruth Lenore. Could be more not sure, info I got from husbands Uncle and is kinda hard to link everything together...
