Do you know the name of the family your Coons were living with on the census? I have a Henrietta Coon who married a Thomas Thompson, who lived in Sangamon cty Il, I dont have any information on Henrietta at all other than who she married, she would have been my gr gr grandmother, I believe she was born in Indiana somewhere around 1837 or so, my gr grandfather was John Thompson and he was born in 1857, but they all ended up in sanagmon county, maybe we can link more info , use my email please,
