Laura, my Emeline, daughter of Samuel Jr., and Mary (Maria or Melinda) Coon, did have an older sister named Maria J "Mariah" Coon. Emeline was born in 1824, at Covert, Seneca, NY.
I do have futher ancestral information, but I have not cofirmed any of it. Would be happy to share what I have. If your Mary Johnson is my Emeline Coon's sister, then we are cousins!
