Ok, here's some new info:

Joseph Coon, son of Mathew Coon and Lydia Wilbur, b. 17 Feb. 1758, d. before April 1821. Will published 12/12/1812. Married Eleanor Brower on March 20, 1781. Cousin of Daniel Coon of Salem, Washington Co., NY. Children: William, Smith, Peter, John, Anna, Susanna, Margaret, Jemima, Mary. (Note: no Joseph!!!)

Does this fit ANY Joseph that you know of? The information came from a private researcher and I'm not sure it's been published anywhere.
